The stated objective of HOPP PSC is to offer a service in line with market requirements, in particular the recruitment and placement of highly-qualified legal experts. Clearly defined task structures as well as a performance-related fees ensure efficient, achievement-oriented work and the best possible results. Finally, unlike many recruitment agencies, at HOPP PSC the legal experts undertake the most crucial part of the executive search, namely reaching out to target candidates, rather than a junior department, which in most cases only gleans specific information from a briefing and a target profile.

Olaf A. Hopp
Owner and founder of HOPP PSC, fully qualified lawyer Olaf Hopp, whom the legal magazine JUVE Rechtsmarkt described as far back as 2006 as an “excellent industry expert”. He has been involved in recruitment and consultancy since 1996 and before founding HOPP PSC worked for several years in an international commercial law firm with over 1,600 lawyers at the time.
He was on the selection panel at the Bucerius Law School for three years, is author of several expert contributions in newspapers and co-author of the standard work “Headhunter – Blick hinter die Kulissen einer verschwiegenen Branche” [”Headhunter – a look behind the scenes of a secretive sector”] and the new edition of the best-selling book “Partner werden in der Anwaltskanzlei” [”Becoming a partner in a law practice”]. Being a father of four doesn’t leave him much free time, but he likes to go mountain biking in the Taunus mountains.
Legal Search Consultant
Dorothee Hopp is a business graduate who, after her studies in Würzburg, initially worked for several years for one of the Big 4 accounting firms in Stuttgart and Frankfurt. Whilst bringing up her children, she worked part-time for a recruitment agency, gaining her initial experience in recruitment here. She has been an integral part of the team at HOPP PSC since 2010 and is especially involved in the In-house and Compliance areas. Thanks to her special expertise, she also oversees search projects in the context of multidisciplinary partnerships.
After qualifying as a lawyer, Janna Hoffmann firstly worked for the European Union in Brussels as well as in an international consultancy firm in Berlin and London. She was then employed as a lawyer and mediator in prestigious national and international practices and firms, including GSK Stockmann & Kollegen and CMS Hasche Sigle, in Cologne, Frankfurt am Main and Leipzig. She has been a conciliator for the voluntary conciliation board at the Frankfurt am Main Bar Association for several years. Other qualifications include a BS in Psychology, training to become a certified coach as well as a Master of Mediation from the Open University Hagen. As owner of the VIA law practice for Conflict Management, Janna Hoffmann specialises, among other things, in coaching for lawyers and supports us as an external partner, including with onboarding and coaching projects.
